Thermostatic Mixing Valve are for safety showers and emergency eyewash station to provide a safe and plentiful supply of tempered water when used in conjunction with a potable water source. In the event of interruption of the cold water, the control mechanism closes off the hot water port, stopping all flow. In the event of interruption of the hot water supply, the control mechanism allows cold flow through both the fixed and variable bypass. The temperature adjustment on the Thermostatic Mixing Valve are vandal resistant.
